Live low, the Japanese way - directly facing Railway Cathedral. A firm floor-level bed, a solid low wood table, woven floor cushions: everything here sits close to the ground, and the room slows you down with it. Morning tea cross-legged at the table, the Railway Cathedral filling your window. At least twice a year, around July and December, the fairground wheel goes up on the square and the view turns cinematic. Small, calm, and honestly all about that view. Bookable last minut until 12AM😉

Good to know

You're in the city center and some nightlife and noise is possible. Upon availability, we do provide free earplugs for sensitive ears that are not used to live in busy areas ☺ We would like to avoid bad reviews regarding these little things mentioned above as it hurts us a lot ☺ Thanks for being an amazing guest!

You're on Koningin Astridplein, directly facing Antwerp Central Station — one of the most beautiful railway buildings in Europe, lit up spectacularly at night. This is the true centre: the Zoo is next door, the Meir shopping street a 10-minute walk, the old town and cathedral about 20 minutes on foot or four minutes by tram. The walk is well worth it. It's also the edge of the world-famous diamond district, so the whole square is unusually well watched — full camera coverage, private security and a permanent police presence, in and out of uniform. What it is not is quiet. There is one club, in our basement and the only one on the square, with the rest of the nightlife around the corner, so you will hear some of the city — mainly voices. The square is pedestrian, so no trams or traffic passing late at night. Free earplugs and blackout blinds are provided. If you want lively and central, you'll love it. If you want silence, ask us about our apartments at the back of the building.
